Status Report: SQLGrinder 2

SQLGrinder 2It's been about a month since the last update, so I thought I'd post the current status of SQLGrinder 2. My goal was to have something ready for limited testing (an early beta) at the end of this month. Unfortunately, due to a break in at my home/office, this might get delayed. While most of my important data was safe and with me (on my laptop), including all of the up-to-date versions of the source code, I was essentially cleaned out. Stolen were my primary and secondary desktops, my backup laptop, and my LCD displays. They also stole pretty much everything of value I had that they could carry out, including 500 CDs from my collection (a lot of which are irreplaceable). Needless to say, for the last week or so, all I've been doing is damage control, and I'm still not up to full speed, as I haven't gotten my replacements yet (luckily I was insured).

As the first public release approaches, I'll start to post some of the highlights of the new version, most likely starting at the end of next week. Watch this space for them. The first thing I'll highlight is the completely new SQL statement library.
